Dispersion modelling in run continuously. The summery screen shows the current status of the odour dispersion plumes. Current weather data and number of open complaints is displayed.
Map
The map shows all complaints registered around this site, with red = validated, yellow = awaiting validation (resolution) and green = not validated (unwarranted). Details of each complaint is found by clicking on the location bubble and then onto the associated PDF file, which shows the weather at the time of the complaint (not necessarily when the complaint was made but what time the odour problem occurred), whether the complaint was justified by either the automatic atmospheric dispersion modelling, or an incident recorded in the site log book or any other comment from the site operators.
Forecast
Dispersion modelling is run with the latest weather forecast data. A table shows what times of the day an operations may be undertaken that are likely to increase the odours released from site. A red icon indicates high risk of causing nuisance and a green icon indicates low risk conditions.
